Arthur WEAVER (1918-2008) was probably the leading contemporary Golf Artist of his time. He painted many golfing scenes both in Britain and in the USA. His originals hang at St. Andrews and in the USGA museum, and many have been successfully reproduced as Limited Edition prints. Since graduating from the Hornsey School of Art in London in 1938, he has worked in various fields, but golf art is Weaver’s claim to fame. His first golf course scene, the Royal Liverpool Golf Club, was painted in 1956.
