Richard Chorley’s Carnoustie painting is a great tribute to one of the Scotland’s most legendary courses. The course is located in the town of Carnoustie, Angus. In 1842 it was opened. It was designed by Allan Robertson, assisted by Old Tom Morris. It is considered one of the most difficult golf courses in the world. The course’s primary defense – the wind – is wildly unpredictable and is a great challenge to any golfer.
